At the heart of the village of Groslée, amid the loops of the river Rhone, "Les Cotes" faces south-east. On the side of this hill composed of glacial moraine lies a superb terroir of siliceous clay. Following wisdom handed down through the generations, I only plant Chardonnay in this soil, which brings out this grape's finesse and nobility to perfection.
After a rigorous selection during harvesting, this wine receives all the care a modern cellar can give it in terms of temperature control followed by ageing on lees (batonnage) to give it a more complex aromatic note and a good structure. We carry out all the wine making, ageing and bottling ourselves.
